How to translate a full video in advance

Full-video translation prepares segments in order without waiting for playback to reach them. It is available in the local player and on YouTube / X; Bilibili and other hosts translate while you watch.

Confirm the source and languages

Keep the same video, subtitle source, source language and target language. For audio recognition, source language defaults to automatic and can be set manually. Local embedded tracks use their declared language. Changing the source or languages selects a different subtitle set.

Local player

1. Choose a playable file, sign in and select the source and languages.
2. Open Full-video translation below the player, review the estimate and confirm.
3. Use Stop to stop further submissions. Open full-video translation and confirm again to continue; completed segments are skipped for free.
4. On a phone, keep the page in the foreground. Locking the screen or switching away pauses submissions.

YouTube and X

1. Install the extension, sign in and choose the source and languages on the original video page.
2. Open Translate the full video in advance and select Check video.
3. Review the estimate and select Start or Continue.
4. Select Pause to stop later submissions; continue on the same video when ready.
5. Use Recheck to refresh completion counts and inspect unfinished or failed segments.

Pauses and gaps

Pausing does not delete completed subtitles. A segment already processing can finish and be charged under the usual rules. Add credits after a quota pause, or follow the retry timing shown for the site-wide free quota.

Completed segments are reused. Continue or retry to fill unfinished segments. Failures are not charged; no-speech recognition segments are charged but contain no text.

Finishing the loop does not mean every second has captions. Silence has none and failures need a retry. Sharing and exporting only use existing results.
