Choose subtitle sources and languages

Recognition and translation are both done by large models, processing 30-second segments with context. Accents, background music, overlapping speakers and technical terms can still cause errors, so treat subtitles as a reference.

They are generated as you watch: the first segment takes a moment, then they appear as playback continues. Segments already generated are reused instantly.

Start, pause and fill subtitle gaps

Yes. Adjust font size, line spacing, background and position, and switch between original, translated or bilingual subtitles. These settings are available in the local player and the extension.

• New subtitles: Sign-up includes a one-time 20 points: audio recognition costs 1 point/minute and existing subtitle translation 0.2 points/minute.
• Processing charges: Segments without speech are charged; failed processing is not.
• Free reuse: Completed subtitles for the same video, source and languages are free to reuse across accounts, even with no points left.

• Subtitle files: SRT / VTT are subtitle files loaded by a player; MP4 burns subtitles into the picture.
• Video export: Video export is Beta for local videos, YouTube and X on desktop Chrome; partial generation means only completed segments show subtitles.
• Sharing: YouTube / X subtitles can be shared by link; sharing and export never fill missing segments automatically.

• What is sent: The original video is not uploaded; only necessary audio segments or subtitle text are sent for processing, and audio is deleted afterward or cleaned up after recovery from an interruption.
• Original video: Share links send viewers back to YouTube / X, without hosting the video.
• Public information: Video and language information you actively share is public in the subtitle catalog and may be indexed by search engines.
