Privacy Policy

WatchTranslate generates translated subtitles for browser videos and local videos during the private preview. This policy explains what we collect and how long we keep it.

Account and login

We use your email address or Google sign-in to identify your account, deliver verification codes, bind invite quota, and show your remaining processing minutes.

Video processing

When you request subtitles, the service may receive media metadata, video or audio segments, generated subtitles, processing logs, and quota ledger records needed to complete and audit the job.

Retention

Generated processing files are retained for 3 days by default during the preview. Account, quota, invite, and billing ledger records may be retained longer so we can handle support, refunds, quota adjustments, and abuse prevention.

Sharing

We do not sell personal data. We use infrastructure providers such as Cloudflare, Resend, Google OAuth, and local processing workers to operate the service.

Terms of Use

These terms apply to the WatchTranslate private preview and may change as the product moves toward a public release.

Access

The preview is invite-only. Invite codes add processing quota to the account that redeems them and may be adjusted, revoked, refunded, or supplemented by an administrator when needed.

Quota

Quota is measured by processed video seconds. Matching cached subtitles for the same account and media context should not be charged again. If a billing edge case appears, we may correct the ledger manually.

Content

You are responsible for the videos you process and for complying with the rules of the sites you use. Do not use the service for unlawful content, abuse, or activity that harms the service or other users.

Preview limits

The preview is provided as-is while we improve quality, coverage, and reliability. Features, prices, supported sites, and retention periods may change.
